I found this really cute knit dress in Target and thought that I could turn it into a romper for my daugther. DD actually doesn’t have a big belly but she loves to eat her dresses, or anything she could grab! She would just pull up her dress and go at it! I wonder if she’s teething. Anyway, I came across this beautiful print and for $6 I thought it was a great price. It took a while but it’s finally done. I inserted elastic into the original hem to make it look more like a bubble. However, DD has really chubby legs and the openings seem a little bit too tight on her. Also, I should have bought a bigger size since DD has a long torso (with diaper) and this is already getting too tight. Overall I enjoyed this project since it gave me some practice in alterating.
